Speech and Language skills are vital in everyday life.  A speech and language pathologist is a specialist within the areas of voice, fluency, language and articulation skills.  Mrs. Mazzella , Speech and Language Pathologist at MSN obtained her B.S.  from Lock Haven University and her M.S. in Communication Disorders from William Paterson University.  She has many years of experience within the field treating the school age population.  Many of the students who receive speech and language therapy, come to remediate /s/, /r/, and /l/ in addition to phonological disorders, Apraxia and Dysarthria and address fluency issues.  Additionally, students who attend for language therapy address:   vocabulary, following directions, social skills, problem solving, critical thinking, executive function, inferencing skils, providing details, pragmatic training and discourse, employing memory strategies and compensatory strategies.
