Welcome to Middle School North!

I am excited to begin the 2026–2027 school year and hope you had a relaxing summer filled with time spent with family and friends. Together, we will work to make this a successful, positive, and rewarding year for all students.

I will be working closely with your child’s other teachers and our 7th grade team to provide the support, strategies, and skills your child needs to make academic progress. This year, I will be providing your child with:

❒ Language Arts Pull-Out Resource Replacement (RR) Instruction 

❒ Social Studies In-Class Resource (ICR) Support 

❒ Supplemental Reading (SOAR) Support

Our Back-to-School Night will be held on Monday, September 28th, at 6:00 p.m. Teachers will review curriculum expectations, class rules and procedures, and provide an overview of our programs and services. We will also be available to answer any questions you may have. I look forward to meeting you and beginning a strong home-school partnership.

In addition, our district will be using Schoology, a digital learning management system where teachers can post assignments, resources, and other important information for students by subject area. Homework accounts for 5% of the student’s overall grade. I encourage students to record their assignments consistently using either a paper or digital homework sheet to help them stay organized and manage their responsibilities.
