Independent Reading

• 90 minutes of independent reading each week
• Goals and conferencing
• 2 notebook entries per week:  one long, one short
• Notebook entries will be graded monthly and carry test weight

    Students are welcome to borrow any book I have in the classroom library. The school library is also available to during class if needed. Students are also welcome to bring in books they have purchased on their own.

* Please Note

   Books in the classroom library are not censored, and are all within middle grade and young adult fiction categories. If you are unsure of any content, please ask me and I will provide you with a summary and information. Reading choices are based on parent/guardian discretion.
