Grading Policy

MAJOR ASSESSMENTS will be worth 60% of the trimester grade.  Major assessments will include unit tests (at the conclusion of each unit), larger quizzes, projects and long-term activities.   There will always be a review/study guide for unit tests.  

MINOR ASSESSMENTS will be worth 30% of the trimester grade (algebra) and 40% of the trimester grade (math).  Minor assessments will include smaller quizzes, problems of the week, open-ended questions and other activities.  Quizzes included in this category may be surprise quizzes. 

TRIMESTER ASSESSMENTS / UNIT ASSESSMENTS will be worth 10% of the trimester grade.  

*All work must be shown for all assignments in order to receive credit for the assignment!
